THE super-quick rise of Louie Hinchliffe takes its next leap this afternoon when the 100m breakout star appears in front of a bumper home crowd for the first time.

But having dazzled under the intense spotlight of the American college scene, the Sheffield man will likely take 50,000 fans at London Stadium in his stride.

A field containing British record holder Zharnel Hughes and six-time world champion Noah Lyles is an undoubted step up but Hinchliffe admits he has not really had the time to think about his ascent to the top tier of sprint.
