Prices for fancy firs now break £100 mark

THE price of some real Christmas trees has broken £100 for the first time.
A shortage of quality bushy trees such as spruces and Nordmann firs has sent prices soaring.
So at the luxury end of the market, it can now cost more than £100 to have a traditional 6ft Nordmann fir delivered to your door.
