Starmer hints Rayner return to Cabinet job

KEIR Starmer has hinted Angela Rayner may be back in the Cabinet before the next general election.

The PM said he misses Ms Rayner, who resigned as Housing Secretary and Deputy PM in September after not paying enough stamp duty on her seaside home.

Asked if she may return before an election, Mr Starmer told reporters at the G20 summit: ‘I've always said I want Angela back. Even back in September at the time I said she is going to be a big voice in the Labour movement. Do I want Angela back at some stage? Yes, absolutely.
