Mum slams killers who deprived her son, 15, of a new start in life
THE mum of a 15-year-old boy murdered in a machete attack branded his killers "pathetic cowards" as they were jailed.
Jodie Taylor's son Daejaun Campbell cried out “I'm 15, don't let me die” after he was ambushed in a gang-related attack.
His teenage killers had previous convictions for carrying knives and a machete, affray and possession of cannabis.
Following a trial at the Old Bailey, Imri Doue, 18, was found guilty of murder, having admitted having a machete.
Marko Balaz, 19, was convicted of Daejaun’s manslaughter and admitted drugs offences.
