Ukraine is open to a ceasefire if Putin agrees | Kyiv blitzes Russia..then US restarts military aid

UKRAINE says it is open to a 30-day ceasefire in the war with Russia, subject to agreement from Vladimir Putin.

And the US said it has lifted its suspension of military aid to Ukraine and the sharing of intelligence.

The announcements came at talks between the US and Ukraine in Saudi Arabia which began hours after Kyiv launched its biggest drone strike on Russia in the three years of fighting.

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said America would now present the ceasefire offer to the Kremlin.

He added: "We're going to tell them this is what's on the table. Ukraine is ready to stop shooting and start talking. And now it'll be up to them to say yes or no.
