Headteacher slams South East Water as supplies finally return

CRISIS-HIT South East Water has been told it must do better by a headteacher whose staff had to flush toilets with buckets.

John Tutt, of St James Primary School in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, branded the firm appalling after the Mirror revealed its bungling boss David Hinton was in line for a £400,000 bonus.

Yesterday SEW said supplies have been restored to most affected homes in Kent and Sussex. Some 30,000 properties had no water at the height of the crisis that began last Saturday.
