Forest boss promises he'll try not to argue with officials this season
NUNO ESPIRITO SANTO says he will try not to moan about referees this season.
Nottingham Forest boss Santo was involved in a long-running battle with officialdom last term and picked up a £40,000 fine and a suspended one-game ban for comments about the referee's integrity following a defeat at Everton (below). Defender Neco Williams landed a £24,000 fine.
Forest issued a statement after the game, complaining about penalty decisions that didn't go their way. They also employed former ref Mark Clattenburg to act as a go-between to iron out any misunderstandings.
