THERE was bucketloads of sun and fun as millions made the most of the summer's final bank holiday.
Old and young flocked to beaches and basked in the heat as temperatures in parts of Britain hit new highs.
Wales and Northern Ireland had their warmest August bank holiday Monday since records began in 1884.
