MAD NOT TO MIX UP HIS SPOT SHOTS

NICO MADSEN is happy to let goalkeepers in on his penalty-taking secret - because even he doesn't know where he is going to put them.

QPR's Danish midfielder salvaged a point with a cool-as-you-like spot-kick and he revealed: “I don’t really have a preference where I put it but I always feel good taking a penalty. It’s about the feeling in the moment when I look at the keeper.

“I always have my small ritual, with how many steps I take and where I look before I take the kick and it's at that moment when I choose which way to go. This time I went to the left, maybe another time I'll go right.”
