Mother-to-be saves her hubby in cardiac arrest. Valentine's Day call to couples to take CPR course

A MUM is being hailed as an example of why couples should learn CPR after she performed the life-saving procedure on her husband when she was eight months pregnant.

Primary school teacher Krystalla Panayi-Davidson was 35 weeks pregnant with her first child when she was awoken by a thud and found her husband Lee collapsed on the bathroom floor.

Krystalla, 36, said: "I kept asking if he was OK but there was no answer. I tried to push the door and I couldn't get in so I really started to panic.

"When I got in, his feet were up against the door and he was laying against the shower in a really contorted position, and I knew something was really wrong" Lee, who had no family history of heart issues, had stopped breathing so Krystalla began CPR until the paramedics arrived.
