Princess not ruled out of King's birthday bash | And Charles reveals he'll definitely be there

THE Princess of Wales has not been ruled out of making an appearance at the King's official birthday celebrations next month.

Kate, 42, who is having preventative cancer treatment, is understood to be considering making an appearance on the Buckingham Palace balcony following the Trooping the Colour ceremony if she is feeling well enough.

Kensington Palace yesterday confirmed the Princess would not be officially taking part in the final dress rehearsal for the King's birthday celebrations on June 8, but did not rule out her simply attending the main event a week later.

As colonel-in-chief of the Irish Guards, Kate would usually take the salute at The Colonel's Review, the second of three ticketed Trooping the Colour events which begin today with The Major General's Review at Horse Guards Parade.
