JOFRA ARCHER is being lined up to be unleashed against India on his big summer comeback.

The fast bowler has every chance of ending his four-year Test absence at the Second Test in Birmingham on July 2.

He will be picked as long as the 30-year-old comes through a planned return to county action for Sussex at Durham on June 22. Archer has been beset by injuries since blasting onto the international scene.

The latest was a thumb problem sustained in the IPL, which ruled him out of the current white-ball clashes with the Windies.
