Derby win puts Robins so close to the Shield
HULL KR will be crowned League Leaders' Shield winners for the first time in the Super League era after defeating arch-rivals Hull FC.
Rovers have not yet mathematically won the League Leaders' Shield.
But their superior points difference means it is as close to a guarantee as you can get.
It will be the first time Rovers have finished top of the table since 1985.
"It wasn't pretty," KR boss Willie Peters said. "Derbies can be like that but we needed to win. We got the first 20 minutes right, we got the mindset right in terms of building pressure.
