Israel troops 'kill 3 people heading to a Gaza aid site'

ISRAELI forces in Gaza killed at least three people when they opened fire on crowds heading towards an aid distribution site, health officials report.

Dozens were reportedly injured. The Israeli military said it fired warning shots at suspects who approached its forces and posed a threat.
The Red Cross said its field hospital received 50 wounded, including two declared dead on arrival after the shooting in Rafah in southern Gaza. A third body was reported elsewhere.
The incident was at the same location where witnesses say Israeli forces fired a day earlier on crowds going to the aid hub run by the Israel and US-backed Gaza Humanitarian Foundation.
