Capt Tom's daughter speaks out (but won't say how much cash charity got)

THE daughter of lockdown hero Captain Sir Tom Moore says she regrets setting up a charity in his name, but insists: "There was nothing dishonest."

Hannah Ingram-Moore, 54, and her husband Colin, 67, were slammed by the Charity Commission over their handling of the Captain Tom Foundation.

They were accused of using £1.47million raised by his three books for themselves rather than for the charity's aims.

The commission said they displayed a pattern of behaviour in which the public would understandably feel misled, but concluded their actions were not criminal.
