HUGHES: I'VE NOAH FEUD WITH LYLES

BRITISH sprint star Zharnel Hughes wants to avoid another spat with Olympic 100m champ Noah Lyles and let his feet do the talking at the World Championships.

The pair (both above) made headlines last summer when Lyles delivered a withering putdown of the Brit on Netflix show Sprint.

The American claimed Hughes lacked “main character energy” ahead of the Olympics and Hughes responded by saying Lyles “just needs to shut up”.

Lyles (below) had the last laugh - winning won 100m gold - as injury-hampered Hughes failed to make the final. A year on and Hughes, 30, is playing it down ahead of a rematch - with heats this Saturday and the final on Sunday in Tokyo.
