Help put an end to Gaza horror
Daily Mirror UK
|July 28, 2025
ISRAEL'S starvation campaign in Gaza is continuing at an alarming rate. What is the UK doing to stop this? Not much it seems.
-
Food prices in Gaza have increased and people simply cannot afford the sky-high prices for basic foodstuffs like flour, which now costs hundreds of pounds.
Families are malnourished because of a lack of aid being distributed. It's heartbreaking to read accounts from medical staff saying youngsters are so underfed they are drowsy and dizzy.
They risk severe malnutrition as they are not getting the right vitamins and minerals. Only some aid has been able to get through militarised crossing points.
The Israeli authorities have been stopping supply lorries getting in.
This is a despicable act that should be condemned by other countries.
Keir Starmer must act now to make sure that aid can reach the starving people in Gaza.
Stephen James, South London
