A GOLD coin minted in 1629 and hidden from Nazi looters during the Second World War is set to become the most expensive ever sold at auction.

The 100 ducat coin is made of 12.2oz (346g) of gold, the largest denomination ever minted in Europe, and has an estimate of nearly £2million. It shows Ferdinand III of Habsburg dressed in armour.
