ITV chef is 'quietly axed' from shows. Dozens complain of crude jibes

TELLY chef Gino D'Acampo is being quietly dropped by ITV chiefs over complaints of sexually inappropriate behaviour, insiders say.

The 48-year-old Italian is best known for his appearances on This Morning and factual and entertainment shows.

But he is no longer involved with any of the channel's programming as it looks to avoid a formal review.

One insider said "There is nothing currently commissioned or in development with Gino D'Acampo.

"The only outstanding show is a series of Family Fortunes, recorded in October 2023, which is not currently scheduled." Some of his shows have also been removed from streaming service ITVX.

ITV bosses are hoping its Complaints Handling Unit will look at complaints individually. It was set up last year to enforce the "robust and comprehensive" duty of care policies put into place in the wake of the Phillip Schofield debacle.
