Rene: United must let Antony and Garnacho go this summer

FORMER Manchester United coach Rene Meulensteen has slammed Antony and Alejandro Garnacho and said they must be offloaded this summer.

In a brutal attack, Meulensteen, Sir Alex Ferguson's one-time assistant, branded Antony "selfish" and said Garnacho is "bad for the club".

The Dutch coach also said Ajax could not believe United paid £80million for Antony and were "doing cartwheels" when the fee was agreed.

United are looking to get rid of Antony and Garna-cho this summer to raise funds to allow boss Ruben Amorim to rebuild his squad.
