Graft starts now says Gabriel
JOAO PEDRO has finally started hitting the sort of form that encouraged Chelsea to pay Brighton £60m for him last summer.
And if his goalscoring is anything to go by, he is clearly benefiting from new manager Liam Rosenior, who took over from Enzo Maresca on January 6.
Since January 17, Joao Pedro has appeared in a dozen Blues matches and scored 11 goals, including six in his last five games wtith the highlight a hat-trick at Aston Villa last week.
And the Brazil forward has handed a lot of the credit for finding his feet at Stamford Bridge to Rosenior, who has been instrumental in changing his form.
As Chelsea prepare to meet Paris St-Germain, Joao Pedro said: "My career with Chelsea has been special with some difficulties along the way.
"A few minor injuries that prevented me from playing regularly, especially in the Premier League.
"I came here to help. I believe I've been showing good form.
"When the new manager arrived, we had several conversations. He told me that he already knew who I was and wanted to help me develop.
