NIGEL Farage has abandoned billions of pounds in tax-cut pledges while vowing to slash welfare and help the super-rich.

In a speech to the City of London yesterday he rowed back on Reform' UK's manifesto last year, which boasted of massive tax cuts, including raising the personal allowance to £20,000 and a £100,000 tax-free allowance for firms.
