Easy peasy mac 'n' cheesy

GREGGS' secret is out... and now its mac and cheese is cooking up an internet storm. The pasta dish was on the chain's "hidden menu" of food not advertised on its website. But after being tracked down and tested by influencer Carmie Sellitto, who has 790,000 TikTok followers, it has gone viral with Carmie rating it nine out of 10. It is only available in select shops for a limited time and Carmie visited five Greggs before finding it. Now the Mirror's ALI GRAVES, who found the meal in her local Greggs in Dundee, has tested it to see what the fuss is about...

MOVE aside sausage rolls - as a macaroni connoisseur, I was happy to dive in, fork piled high, to see if the excitement about Greggs' mac and cheese is genuine.

Described as "cooked pasta in a cheese sauce, topped with a blend of Cheddar and red Leicester, ciabatta breadcrumbs and parsley", this £4.55 meal sounds like an ideal, filling lunch.
