Labour anger in cuts storm

A LABOUR backlash has erupted in the Commons over disability benefit cuts as one MP warned the plans may "devastate lives".

The Party's Imran Hussain urged the government to scrap the "unfair" proposed reforms to Personal Independence Payments.

He said of his constituents: "Many of the 41,000 disabled people in Bradford who rely on PIP to live with dignity and stability are rightly horrified by these proposed cuts.

"These plans would take away the vital lifeline from those with the greatest need, living in the most deprived areas."
