Poorest spots get less police cash

URGENT action is required to stop crime in the most deprived areas, say MPs.

The top 10% of disadvantaged districts in England receive just £249 per head spent on policing versus £258 in the 10% least underprivileged spots, a report by the Independent Commission on Neighbourhood found.

Crest Advisory, a justice consultancy, highlighted several points in the report for Icon.
