Met officers looking into claims he tried to dig dirt on accuser

POLICE are looking for notebooks, emails and phone records from Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor's personal protection squad.

The Met are probing claims that the former prince asked a police bodyguard to uncover private details about sex trafficking victim Virginia Giuffre in a bid to discredit her.

He is also facing pressure to appear before a US Congress committee probing Jeffrey Epstein's crimes.
