Dad's family liaison officer faces court rap

THE police officer who helped comfort the father of missing chef Claudia Lawrence has admitted possessing indecent images of children.
Disgraced officer Paul Beckwith, 53, admitted three counts of having indecent images of children and five counts of voyeurism.
He was suspended from duty after being arrested last November, having served with North Yorkshire Police for 33 years.
The former family liaison officer appeared beside Peter Lawrence five days after his daughter Claudia, 35, vanished from her home on March 18, 2009.
