Foursome performance lifts spirits of Enzo's moody Blues

- BY JOHN CROSS

HOW the Premier League will miss Southampton next term.

Whenever a team needs a result, Southampton have proven highly obliging opponents.

Just two wins in 10 for Chelsea? A protest against the ownership? No problem. Southampton were happy enough to roll over at Stamford Bridge to get the Blues back in the Champions League places and the fans back onside.

The only thing they did not help with was to get Cole Palmer back among the goals - he has not scored or assisted for seven games, arguably the chief reason for Chelsea's drop in form.
