3,000 at risk in Lloyds overhaul

LLOYDS Banking Group is set to put up to 3,000 jobs at risk under plans to axe its “weakest” performing staff.

The industry giant is planning an overhaul, partly because too few employees are leaving of their own accord.

Lloyds which also includes Halifax and Bank of Scotland - will measure the performance of its 63,000-strong workforce. According to the FT, the “weakest” 5% will be urged to improve or be put at risk of dismissal.
