Defender a ‘hero to many clubs
FANS and former players gathered to remember beloved Welsh footballer Joey Jones yesterday at an emotional memorial service.
Sir Kenny Dalglish led ex-Liverpool, Chelsea, Wrexham and Huddersfield players in mourning Jones, who died on July 22 at the age of 70.
Former Wales and Chelsea team mates Mickey Thomas and Eddie Niedzwiecki both broke down in tears as they paid personal tributes.
