Rush-hour carnage at busy rail station
SEVENTEEN people were injured when a speeding double-decker bus mounted the pavement and smashed into barriers yesterday.
Its driver was among 15 passengers and pedestrians taken to hospital. Two more were treated at the scene near London's Victoria station during yesterday morning's rush hour.
Witness Mohammad Ali, in charge of security at a nearby shopping arcade, heard a massive bang, rushed out and saw up to eight people badly hurt.
