Former President Ranil Wickremesinghe said yesterday that Sri Lanka has taught an important lesson to the world by restoring political and economic stability in the aftermath of the Aragalaya, despite negative narratives promoted by sections of the international media.

Speaking at the launch of Aragalaya Balaya, a book authored by Professor Sunanda Madduma Bandara, Wickremesinghe said the stable government formed following the protests was able to address the core demands raised by the public.
