Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia celebrate 50 years of the establishment of diplomatic relations and to commemorate this historic milestone, the Embassy of Sri Lanka designed a special commemorative “logo” and unveiled it at a diplomatic reception organized by the Embassy on 05 February 2025 at the Cultural Palace in the Diplomatic Quarters in Riyadh.

Saudi Post (SPL) has issued a commemorative postal stamp to mark the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Sri Lanka and Saudi Arabia.
Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Prince Faisal bin Farhan officially presented the stamps to the visiting Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism of Sri Lanka Vijitha Herath during the bilateral meeting held between the two Ministers of Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Riyadh on November 9.
