TRINITY kicked off their President's Trophy Knockout Rugby Tournament with a massive 62/5 win over Katugastota Antonians at Longdon Place last weekend.

- BY SHAMSEER JALEEL

The game, which was played under floodlights with a packed stadium, saw the Lions leading 29/0 at the short breather.

Trinity were in total domination; though many expected the Antonians to give a good account of themselves, the lads from Katugastota looked a total mismatch.

The Lions combined well with their forwards and three-quarters, who touched down on nine occasions, where seven of them were converted while adding a penalty as well. The Antonians replied with a solitary try.
