Joes restrain Royal's Try spree

THE marching Saints put up a gallant performance to disrupt the free flowing Try spree of the Royal Tuskers on a dry Friday evening.

Joes defended reasonably well and attacked constantly with purpose, during the latter part of the first half and in the second half, that frustrated the Royalists in giving away abundant penalties that Joes utilised to seal a few Try deals. Moreover, Joes’ defence successfully held-up two potential groundings by the Royal Tuskers saving 14 points, while a thundering tackle saved an imminent Royal Try to save another 7, quite close to the Saints’ goal line.
