In November 2024, a group of 11 Icelandic lady Yoga enthusiasts arrived for a 12-day journey through Sri Lanka, expertly organized by Jetwing Travels, one of the island’s leading destination management companies.

The group, led by a Certified Yoga Instructor, set out to deepen their wellness practice through daily yoga sessions in inspiring natural settings, were also able to explore the vibrant culture and breathtaking landscapes of Sri Lanka.
The itinerary
■ Dambulla, the cultural heartland - climbing the historic Sigiriya (Lion) Rock Fortress built by the -King Kaashyapa and the nearby Pidurangala Rock.
■ Wildlife safari in Minneriya National Park - viewing famed for its large elephant gathering.
