GLOBAL gold prices advanced on Friday, recovering from a near one-week low in the previous session as investors positioned ahead of key US inflation data that could shape expectations on interest rates.

Gold was quoted at $ 4,953.18 per troy ounce on 13 February 2026, up 0.64% from the previous day. Over the past month, prices have risen 7.03% and are up 71.94% compared to the same period last year, based on trading in contracts
