Citi Sri Lanka reaffirms purpose and impact on Global Community Day 2025

SRI Lanka joined thousands of Citi colleagues across the globe to mark the 20th anniversary of Global Community Day a milestone that reflects Citi's two-decade commitment to service and social impact.

This year, Citi Sri Lanka focused its volunteer efforts on the rural region of Waga in Avissawella, partnering with Sarvodaya Shramadana Movement to support economically challenged communities through a series of impactful activities.
Citi employees came together to volunteer their time and efforts in activities designed to address the communities’ urgent needs:
Community kitchen Volunteers assisted in the preparation and distribution of meals feeding more than 400 residents within community.
