Jamie aims to bow out with title No.4

JAMIE GEORGE is impatient to win a fourth Six Nations title before he signs off from rugby.

The hooker claims he has suffered too many near-misses with England - and he wants to keep his bosses happy too.

George, who will retire at the end of 2027, won a Grand Slam in 2016 and championships in 2017 and 2020, all under Eddie Jones, to add to silver and bronze medals in World Cups in 2019 and 2023 (consoled by coach Steve Borthwick after defeat by South Africa, below).

But that is not enough for George or the RFU. On Monday they released a strategy document, Plan 2030, outlining ambitions to grow the game in this country while demanding more success from senior England teams.
