White-ball hurt puts Ben on red alert
Daily Express

BEN DUCKETT says England are out to make amends for their humbling experiences in India and at the Champions Trophy that “hurt me so much”.
England have lost 10 out of 11 white-ball matches since the turn of the year, including all three at the Champions Trophy in Pakistan to finish bottom of their group, triggering Jos Buttler’s resignation as captain.
As their approach came under scrutiny, Duckett raised eyebrows during a 3-0 ODI series clean sweep by India when saying: “I do not care as long as we beat them in the final of the Champions Trophy.”
Rob Key, the ECB’s managing director of men’s cricket, accepted England players occasionally speak “rubbish” to avoid upsetting the dressing room and Duckett is adamant that results do matter to them.
