MAX VERSTAPPEN insists his father "is not a liar" as he defended him over a blazing row with Christian Horner.
The tension between the pair spilled over in Bahrain last weekend and Jos Verstappen called for Horner to resign, accusing the Red Bull team chief of playing the victim.
Verstappen Jr faced intense questioning on the fallout ahead of this weekend's Saudi Arabian Grand Prix. Asked if his father regretted the comments, the 26-year-old said: "I have not asked him that but my dad, from how I know him from go-karting, is very outspoken and he is not a liar, that's for sure.
