UK's youngest landlady has own pub at 18

AMBITIOUS Neve Baker-Wright is the toast of regulars after taking over her local to become the UK's youngest pub landlady at the age of 18.

Neve is running The New Inn in Folkingham, Lincs, after the retiring landlords suggested that she give it a shot. She had worked as a waitress in pubs from the age of 14 but did not know what to do when her A-levels, including business studies, finished.

Neve said: "At first I thought 'No way' because I'm only 18. My family had said to me 'What could possibly go wrong?' and my response was 'Well, quite a lot'.
