Ukraine fears 'donor fatigue' after US vote

FEARS grew over the US commitment to fund Ukraine's defence yesterday as the Republican nominee to lead its House of Representatives voted against nearly all aid to Kyiv.
Jim Jordan has opposed a swathe of military support as the nation battles Russian invaders, and said he would object to more if he is made Speaker.
His intervention came as "donor fatigue" was noted in other Western allies. Republicans backed conservative Jordan, inset, in a closed-door meeting but he appeared to be well short of the 217 votes he will need to win the job in a final poll expected this week.
