CHAOTIC weather extremes have battered British wildlife and habitats in the past year, experts have warned.
Climate change is accelerating at a "frightening pace", and the country is "shockingly underprepared", said The Wildlife Trusts in a report.
Over the past year, Britain has faced the warmest spring on record, multiple heatwaves, droughts and extensive flooding.
