TV home sells after 12 years of heartache

A LIGHTHOUSE-inspired home that featured on the “saddest ever” Grand Designs episode has been sold - 12 years after the renovations began.
Chesil Cliff House left owner Edward Short, 57, in £7million of debt and ultimately cost him his marriage.
When his episode was shown by Channel 4 in October 2019, the luxury home in the surfers’ paradise of Croyde, Devon, remained half-finished.
