Tourist admits killing fellow traveller on trip to see 'Cinderella' castle

Troy Bohling lured Eva Liu, 21, and her friend Kelsey Chang, 22, off a hiking trail in the Bavarian Alps last June after making their acquaintance by the popular tourist spot of Neuschwanstein castle.

German prosecutors said he forced Eva to the ground and tried to undress her, and when Kelsey tried to intervene he pushed her down the slope.

Strangled

He then strangled Eva unconscious and raped her, before hurling her down the same slope, the court was told.

Éva died later in hospital and Kelsey survived with a head injury, bruises and grazes after her 165ft fall.
