JAKE BICKERSTAFF has been dubbed CHELTENHAM'S Viktor Gyokeres for his part in the shock 1-0 win against leaders WALSALL.

Buoyant Robins (above) are two points above the drop zone after a third win in four unbeaten league games under new boss Steve Cotterill, who praised the 24-year-old for his role in Aden Flint’s stoppage-time own goal.

Cotterill said: “That has epitomised Jake, chasing and not giving up that lost cause. He’s been a bit like Gyokeres for Arsenal. He's had very little reward for it in terms of goals.”
