'The word cancer is hard to hear... I just felt numb'

Paul, then 30, began googling testicular cancer and, through Cahonas Scotland's website, found how to check himself.

He discovered a lump in a testicle and booked a GP appointment but then cancelled it out of embarrassment.

Two months later the pain was so bad he had to see a doctor.
