ARE YOU a regular viewer of SHOP SMART, SAVE MONEY (C5, 7pm), the series in which we, as consumers, are shown how to do the second of those things by doing the first?
-
Me too. Never miss an episode. Except when I forget it’s on.
And I trust the show’s advice implicitly, I really do, especially when it comes to labour-saving devices and contraptions that can make our day-to-day lives that teensy bit easier.
If, having carried out its highly scientific-ish tests, it concludes that a particular product not only helps us out but also represents good value, then, yep, count me in. Why else do you think I’ve got 17 air fryers?
With that in mind, I’m delighted to report that tonight’s episode covers a topic of enormous importance these days - namely, how we can all save the planet. Or at least save a bit of it. Or certainly convince ourselves we are. Or that we're trying to.
