We would be hard-pressed to make Barca style work here, says Arsenal boss

MIKEL ARTETA insisted Arsenal cannot try to play like Barcelona if they want to win the title.

The Premier League leaders have been criticised over their style of play this season, which many deem to be lacking in excitement, as well as a reliance on goals from set pieces.

Despite being seven points clear at the top, Arteta cannot appear to escape the question marks about his side's approach. But ahead of today's visit of Everton, the Spaniard - who came through Barcelona's academy - said: "I was watching the Champions League game between Newcastle and Barcelona Ja 1-1 draw on Tuesday].
